1001 DISCOS PARA OUVIR... - 301-400

Estes 100 álbuns foram lançados entre 1974 e 1978. E um dos maiores destaques desse período foi o grupo pioneiro da música eletrônica, os alemães do Kraftwerk, influenciando um grande número de artistas, dentre os quais dois ingleses e um americano malucos que moravam em Berlim naquela época - David Bowie, Brian Eno e Iggy Pop - e gravaram alguns de seus melhores álbuns.

Ainda do lado europeu, os ingleses do Pink Floyd repetiram o sucesso de seu disco anterior; Richard Thompson e sua então esposa Linda brilharam no seu folk, o Led Zeppelin em seu blues-rock, o Fleetwood Mac lavava roupa suja em público e o The Jam despontava como uma das melhores bandas novas.

Do lado americano Stevie Wonder alcançaria seu auge artístico; os Ramones e Patti Smith influenciavam os punks, Blondie encantava de qualquer forma, The Modern Lovers buscavam inspiração no Velvet Underground, Meat Loaf soltava o morcego do inferno e Muddy Waters ficava Hard Again. Já Keith Jarrett daria um antológico concerto de jazz na cidade de Colônia, na Alemanha.

Os canadenses Neil Young, Joni Mitchell e Rush mostraram porque eram considerados geniais.

No continente africano Fela Kuti, perseguido pelo governo militar do seu país, realizaria um dos grandes álbuns políticos da história.

Os discos brasileiros da vez são o grande África Brasil, de Jorge Ben (ainda sem o Jor) e Ventos de Maio, de Elis Regina (que eu acho que teve outro título aqui no Brasil). Nesse período foram lançados aqui Lóki?, Adoniran Barbosa, Fruto Proibido, Cantar, Tim Maia Racional, Caça à Raposa, Os Doces Bárbaros, Cartola e Álibi, pra citar apenas alguns.

Vale destacar que, quase no final da década, surgiria o movimento punk, mas neste caso está se confirmando o que eu já desconfiava: não gosto do gênero (com algumas exceções, claro).

Desta vez ficou faltando ouvir o importante "Blood on the tracks", de Bob Dylan. Quando conseguir ouvir incluo na relação.

Falta dizer que as notas caíram bem dessa vez, com dois álbuns recebendo as notas mais baixas até agora, uma estrela e meia (Frampton comes alive!, do Peter Frampton e The stranger, de Billy Joel). Será que estou ficando muito exigente ou a qualidade caiu mesmo? Dei uma olhada nos próximos 100 discos e vi que tem muitos cantores(as) e grupos que não conheço. Vejamos o que esses álbuns me reservam.
